WHO IN THE HELL ARE YOU

Psalm 34:19 says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all." If you excepted Jesus Christ as your savior, you are indeed the righteous. Trouble is not prejudice. It comes to everyone. It has no respect for time. It can come at any hour of the day or night. It has no respect for titles or positions. It comes to the president and the industrial worker. But the question is "WHO in the hell are you" in the trouble. Are you going to let what you are going through dictate your attitude, gratitude, and conviction? Are you going to let the uncertainty of how your bills will be paid affect your praise? Are you going to let your so called haters stop you from loving? Are you going to let a sickness stop you from professing the word over your body? Who in this hell are you? Are you a overcomer? Are you the head and not the tail? Are you above and not beneath? Are you a mighty warrior? Are you a person that believes in GOD? DO you believe in the power of GOD? If so...then stand up in your hell and say HELL NO! Speak to your storm and not about it. Before you think I'm being deep...let me tell you. I use to be a person who always had a defeated mentality. If things didn't go right I would shut COMPLETLY down from the world. I thought somebody owed me something????? I thought that because I was the "church boy" I shouldn't have to deal with the negative things of life, but that's not the bible. It wasn't until I changed how I responded to the trouble that things started to turn around. I had to realize who I was in GOD and the power he had given me. You have power too. Use it! Get up from your place of depression, anxiety, and fear. The next time someone ask you "who in the hell are you?" TELL THEM!

Why You SO FAT

A woman shared with me today that she was being verbally abused at home by her husband because she is a little on the heavier side. At first I thought it was a joke because she gives off the impression that she is very confident in herself. However, she shared with me that when she gets home what confidence she has is always knocked down by the negative things her husband says to her. Life assures me that if this woman is gong through this then there are many other women and men dealing with the same issue. If not this issue then maybe you've been made to feel bad because you are not tall enough, small enough, or whatever the case. I challenge you to get a mirror and repeat this scripture to yourself "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" Psalm 139:14. Don't allow anyone to make you feel like you are not beautiful or worth the love you deserve. God made you the way you are for a reason and somebody will love you for you. I'm out! Only White Woman Drink Bottled Water

A white colleague of mine went to a fast food restaurant with her daughter to get something to eat. The "beautiful black girl with long weave, as she described her, behind the counter asked her what she wanted to drink. My colleague answered "Bottled Water." "Bottled water," the girl asked. The girl preceded, "Why would you order bottled water when we can give you a cup of water free?" she asked. My colleague responded "I just prefer the bottled water."- while also stating in her head "why do you have on a head full of weave when you have your own hair for free." As my colleague turned to walk away she heard the girl behind the counter say "only a white woman would order bottled water." This brought a scripture to mind. 1 Samuel 16:7 states "But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." How many times have we prejudged others by a statement they make, the color of their skin, or how they look. Both of them had made an assumption about the other one without knowing the reason behind why they do what they do. My colleague does not like tap water. Her water has to be filtered. However, the black girl, through her experience, believed that only white women drink bottled water. My colleague, on the other hand, can not see the sense in a black woman wearing weave when God gave them their own hair. She did not realize that weave is like a cosmetic. It enhances the beauty that is already there. Ironically black women drink bottled water and white women wear weaves as well. It's all a matter of experience. The next time you pre-judge someone ask God to allow you to see them through his eyes. I heard a wise man say "when you seek to understand a person you will them be able to stand them. Who are you judging based on your own experience?

I Believe In Abortion

Many of you opened this wondering what in the world is wrong with me. LOL I don't believe in aborting children. However I do believe in aborting every thought that the enemy places in our mind that is contrary to what God has already spoken over us. 2 Corinthians 10:5 states that we should "Cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." Make a decision today to abort every negative word, voice, or person from your life that seeks to destroy the word that God has spoken over you and your situation. Tell those voices on the inside and outside to be silent as you begin to decree and declare what the FATHER has already spoken. You are not your mistakes or your trials- they are all part of your process. What you are is Kingdom and as long as you allow the mind of CHRIST to operate inside of you, everything around you will read KINGDOM. Everything you put your hands to do will be KINGDOM. Abort all negative thoughts and negative people out of your life TODAY! The only people who will stand outside this abortion clinic are the imps that the devil has assigned to your life to steal, kill, and destroy the purpose and plans God has for you. These imps will hold signs that read "You are nobody," "I know what you did," "Your business will never work," "You are a failure," "God does not love you," and the like. However, never let these accusation from the enemy stop your progress. Abort the negativity and keep moving toward your destiny. Be blessed. ~ Elijah
